Set of characters used to write a particular set of languages. Common script include Latin, Cyrillic, Arabic, Devanagari, Han just to name a few.

The Unicode web site contains a list of languages and the scripts used to write them. It is available at http://www.unicode.org/onlinedat/languages-scripts.html.
