L10n

Abbreviation sometimes used for localization. The "10" replaces the ten letters seperating the first and last letters. The leading L is usually uppercased to avoid confusion with "i" upercase or the digit "1".
It is mostly used in writing. The localization company Lionbridge uses it in its coporate logo spelling the company name as "L10nbrige".
